For over 80 years a member of the Beck family has been repairing shoes
in Salinas. Shoe repairing was the backbone of our family business for
over 40 of those years. Grandpa Ole opened the first repair shop in 1919.
We have occupied various store fronts along Main Street for over 80 years.
Shoe repair is still a big part of our business along with work shoes, work
clothing, work casuals, and all the assorted items for the working man.
And now Beck's has a new store front, a cyber-store, an address on the
Internet, taking Ole's dream far beyond what he had ever envisioned!!
